A Talk on Local Prehistoric Culture

At 10am Dan Coates, Upper Bay Museum curator and Archaeological Society of the Northern Chesapeake president, will present “Local Prehistoric Culture”. He will have a wide variety of regional artifacts and tool replications to help explain the changing regional life-ways of over 12,000 years. If weather permits the lecture will be followed by an outdoor demonstration of selected Native American tools. This talk is free to the public but donations are appreciated. The museum will also be open from 9-1.
