About the event

Book Talk & Author Signing-More Than Sheepherders: The American Basques of Elko, Nevada

Author Joxe K. Mallea Olaetxe will be at NNM on July 4th from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. to discuss his book about Basque Sheepherders in Elko County. This event falls the day before the National Basque Festival officially begins. Jess Lopategui, Anita Anacabe Franzoia, and Mercedes Mendive assisted with the book, so be sure to check the Museum Store for the publication in a few weeks.
