One Night, Two Pianos: Abbie Thomas & Simon Kauffman Hurst

Join us for a special concert, "One Night, Two Pianos", at Ruthmere on Thursday, July 17th at 7pm, featuring Abbie Thomas and Simon Kauffman Hurst playing the Steinway and Baldwin pianos. The event starts with a summer garden reception at 6pm, offering food and drinks. Tickets are $50 per seat, which includes the reception and concert.

ABOUT ABBIE:
Singer-songwriter // Composer
Fresh off of her back-to-back JMA Artist of the Year awards in 2023 & 2024 (taking place at The Grand Ole Opry), and 5X 2025 International Folk Music Award noms, Abbie Thomas, is a rising singer songwriter and genre-bending recording artist who is gaining international attention and accolades for live performances, lyricism and visual content. Mixing soulful vocals and hints of Blues, Jazz, and a vibe from the songwriters of the 70’s, music lovers are connecting with her songwriting whether it’s via studio recordings or live performances. She is currently touring regionally in midwest USA.

ABOUT SIMON:
Simon Kauffman Hurst is a pianist, organist and keyboardist from Goshen Indiana. Studying piano since an early age, he went from a classical piano degree from Goshen College to playing with a wide variety of local and regional acts. From soulful singer-songwriters to classic rock, and from indie jam bands to old country tunes, Simon has been supporting it all from behind the keys.
