Farmland Leasing Arrangements 2025 Better Leases: Better Relationships

This workshop shares educational resources related to Iowa farmland ownership and tenancy with Iowa farmland owners, tenants, and others involved in agricultural production in the state.
Each attendee will receive a booklet of reference materials for farm leasing arrangements. Workshops will last 2 1/2 - 3 hours and will be led by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach farm management specialists. The 2025 meetings will focus on trends in land values, rental rates, landownership and tenure, incorporating conservation practices on leased farmland, and issues impacting rental rates for the next year in Iowa agriculture.
The Clayton County Farmland Leasing and Management Workshop will be held at the Central State Bank Community Room in Elkader at 1:00 pm Wednesday August 13th. Preregistration is preferred, $25 registration, additional charge for walk-ins. Call 563-245-1451 for more information.
