Paddle Busse Woods

All skill levels welcome to join a “guided” paddle through Busse Woods main pool where the kayak rental center is. This is a slow and relaxing paddle through the lake. No pressure and judgement free zone for all skill levels to participate and enjoy the water and weather.
I will be happy to provide tips on how to plan your trips, how I pack my kayak for a day on the water, getting in and out of your kayak, holding the paddle as well as techniques so you don’t get tired easily.

Key requirements: 1) non-motorized boat 2) life jacket 3) paddle
Extras: non-alcoholic beverages & some snacks FOR YOURSELF to enjoy, Sunscreen, hat, personal fan.

I get off work around 10am and will need about an hour to pack and travel to the lake. Sun sets about 8:20pm so we will make sure to be all packed up by 7:15pm.

Should it rain, we will attempt Sunday or have to plan a time in August.
