Blacksmith Workshop: Seahorse Knife

In this class, students will learn how to forge a seahorse style marking knife out of a 1080 steel masonry nail. Brenden will cover heat treating, tempering, thermocycling, all aspects of the forging and grinding process. This is a great way to dip your toes in the art of blacksmithing and blade smithing. Suitable for complete beginners as well as advanced students.
