Hi everyone
The next points event for the 2025 W.A.R. Driver Championship/"Pom" Jones Trophy is the 2025 1/24 Scale Open Challenge to be held on Friday 26 September 2025.
This will be first ever 124 Open Challenge to held at the Raceway for this popular class.
Round 1 - 8 x 3 minute heats on the WAR track
Round 2 - 6 x 3 minute heats on the Brabham track
$15 entry fee
Attached are the class rules and the conduct rules.
Points will be awarded to each driver based on their finishing position on each track.
The winner of the 2025 1/24 Open Challenge will be the driver the most accumulated points over the two tracks raced.
The winner of the Challenge will receive 50 points towards the 2025 W.A.R. Driver Championship.
Plaques and Certificates will be awarded to the drivers finishing first, second and third in each class, and the Race Director's Award will also be presented.
Spectators are most welcome to attend as well.

12 Noon – 7.25PM PRACTICE & SCRUTINEERING
7.25PM SCRUTINEERING ENDS
7.30PM - 10.30PM RACING FOR THE 124 OPEN CHALLENGE
There are also TWO practice sessions scheduled before the Challenge:
Wednesday 24 September 12 Noon - 9pm
Thursday 25 September 12 Noon - 9pm
There is a $15 entry fee for attending practice sessions, but that one entry fee covers your attendance to BOTH of the practice sessions.
It should be a great night of 124 Open class racing.
