Let’s write a song! Experienced writers and newbies alike are invited to workshop the songwriting process over this course, which will include a series of sessions focused on vocabulary, rhyme, melody, structure, music theory, and details.
Participants are welcome to attend select sessions or register for the full series. Each week, writers will build on the same song or project. Those who choose to participate in select sessions will be emailed the foundational work covered in previous weeks, allowing them to follow along.
Join us in the AOA Water Street Studio (115 N Water St) for this exploration in songwriting. Bring your writing utensils of choice; notebooks or laptops are welcome.
All levels are welcome! Ages 13+ recommended, but exceptions may be made. Contact us at
