Two Sides of the Same Coin Featuring Curtis Griffin and Iris Renfrow

Artists Curtis Griffin and Iris Renfrow partner to bring you a show filled with vibrant portraits in various mediums. Covering two different generations and individual styles of portraiture, the artists collaboration evokes similar emotions through connected inspiration.

Curtis Griffin is a Fine Art Painter and Web Developer who recently made Bastrop, Texas, home after 15 years in Austin. Passionate about working across multiple mediums—oil, aerosol, and acrylic—Griffin thrives in the studio, brings murals to life in public spaces, and engages in live painting at local events, contributing to the vibrant art scenes in Austin, Bastrop, and Central Texas.

Iris Renfrow is a painter from Central Texas who has spent most of her life in Elgin. Drawing, digital art, and painting are amongst favorites of the artist. Iris gains most of her inspiration from social interactions and strives to better understand personality through participation in varsity theater and musical theater through the Elgin ISD Fine Arts Department.
