Elgin Parks & Recreation Department Dino Summer: Dino Dig Safari
Friday, July 18th | 6PM - 8PM | FREE | Veterans Memorial Park
Embark on a thrilling adventure into the prehistoric past at our Dino Dig Safari! Unearth ancient secrets as you participate in a dino fossil dig, get creative with crafts, enjoy fun lawn games, and hone your navigation skills with captivating orienteering. The Family Crisis Center is co-hosting to make this event even more special, while the Elgin Public Library will be on-site with a selection of dino books and a craft activity. The Elgin Police Department will bring a unique twist with "dino forensics," helping you solve prehistoric mysteries!
Feeling hungry after all that excavating? Opalo Food Truck will be selling delicious Venezuelan food, and Vicky's Sweet Creations will have treats and popsicles available to keep you cool. Plus, Lightnin' Bar will be serving up a special dino-themed drink during the event! It's a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of dinosaurs and have a roaring good time.
