Edward Morgan had it all… but he always said that it was his passion that defined him. Behind the strong wooden doors of his private study is where he was happiest….amongst the many books of verse and poetry by his favoured author…..Robert Burns…
This man of the people had become withdrawn of late and an abrupt coldness had crept into his soul…one would have thought that he was a different person all together.
The cause of this change remains inexplicable.
There were rumours and whispers that he had found an important lost passage or a forgotten piece of prose…and that this discovery was to blame.
But as of this 25th day of January 1859 Edward Morgan was dead.
