6 Nights, 5 Days Fishing Lodge Expedition

For your trip to Tanaku Lodge you will need to fly into Juneau Alaska. Once in Juneau you will take a ferry from Juneau to Elfin Cove where we will pick you up. You will need to be in Juneau by 1 pm on the day of your arrival to be able to make the ferry at 1:30pm. We schedule the ferry for you so you don't have to worry about that. But that cost is $550 round trip a person.

The only other thing that you will need to get is a 7 day fishing license with a 7 day king salmon stamp online at Alaska Department of Fish and Game website. That is roughly around $100 a person.

Other than that everything else is included in the trip. In 2025 our trip cost for 5 days of fishing 6 nights at the Lodge is $6995 a person. This includes all your meals, which we do a hot plated breakfast before you leave for fishing at 7 A.M. along with a continental breakfast out prior to that as well. We do a sack lunch on the boat which we make for you. You are to fill out a lunch sheet at dinner the night prior for what kind of sandwich you want along with a lunch special and sweets to go with it. On the boat we also have chips, candy, water, coffee and soda pop. You will come back in from fishing around 4-5 P.M. and we will have an appetizer ready for you at 6 P.M. and then we have dinner at 7 P.M. This is a 3 course dinner with a soup/salad, main entree and desert.

We do have wine and Alaskan Brewing Company beer and on tap if you care to indulge that is included in the package. But we cannot provide beer on the boat so if you want beer or alcohol on the boat you can get it at the general store in Elfin Cove.

We do all the fish processing as well for you in our fish room. We filet all the fish you caught that do vacuum seal it and freeze to -30 degrees Fahrenheit that night. When you go home you will take the fish home in 50lb fish boxes as checked luggage on the airplane. We see on average on a 5 day fishing trip that each person takes home 2 boxes of fish. You will take home all the fish you guys do catch.

We provide rain gear and boots at the lodge for you so you do not have to pack any unless you want to bring your own. The temperature is usually around 50-55 degrees all summer so we recommend packing layers. I say it's perfect hoodie weather but I do run on the warmer side. We also recommend bringing just a carry on so that going home all your checked luggage is all your fish. We will do laundry in the middle of the week for you.

We do recommend 15-20% gratuity on the trip price.
