Andersen(Andi) is a 7 month old little girl born to parents Danielle (Grimm) and Tanner Sears. On January 30, 5 month old Andi was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, with a white blood cell count of 1.57 million - the highest the hospital has ever seen. Treatment started immediately upon diagnosis. Andi was admitted into the Stead Family Children’s Hospital and spent 44 days there receiving treatment including induction chemotherapy, dialysis, intubation, blood products, countless tests, and more. After a short visit home, she was readmitted to start Blinatumomab, an immunotherapy that has recently been put into protocols for this specific leukemia. She is now receiving that infusion at home. Her future treatment involves another 28 day inpatient chemotherapy round called Induction 1B and then she will begin prep for a bone marrow transplant.
We will be hosting a BINGO benefit to help support baby Andi. We will also have silent auction items, raffle baskets, a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle.
