Eldred WWII Museum Showcase

Step into a powerful and immersive tribute to the 40 million Americans who stood behind the 16 million soldiers fighting on the front lines during one of the most pivotal chapters in world history at the Eldred WWII Museum Showcase. This showcase highlights the Museum’s Living History Weekend, getting a glimpse into the lives of soldiers and civilians on the front line with reenactors representing multiple nations and services, authentic artifacts, storytelling about the war. Trail Central will be there distributing the new McKean County Museum Trail Passports, stickers and giveaways from their prize vault.

The Eldred World War II Museum is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the stories, sacrifices, and triumphs of the WWII generation—not only to honor the past, but to help shape a more informed and resilient future. Located in the small town of Eldred—once home to a wartime munitions factory—the museum offers an impressive and ever-growing collection that brings the global conflict to life through thousands of artifacts, rare items, and thought-provoking exhibits.
