Los Angeles Basketry Guild and Misti Washington Gourd & Basket Guild proudly present a special class with Ghermayn Baker. Footstool - You've seen caning on furniture, but how is it done? Come find out and do something with your hands to de-stress. You'll weave your very own panel in a classic pattern under the expert guidance of Ghermayn Baker from Point by Point Studio. Together we'll talk about the history of cane material, what it's used for, and practical applications for this often-seen but not-often-talked-about craft. When you're finished, take home your footstool to display in your home or use as the most beautiful footstool. All level of experience. Registration opens 8/1/2025.
