Printmaking: Traditions, Dissemination of Ideas, Art & Resistance

Sánchez will give an overview of his first encounters with printmaking and how this practice has impacted his journey and artistic practice. Marco will also share about learning the different methodologies while pursuing his undergraduate degree and how he sharpened them in grad school, to his time in residencies on both sides of the border. There will be insight into what influences his imagery, and the familial, cultural and sociopolitical content that shapes his work.
