Start your day with a good morning meditation.
By “coming home” to the breath, we can gradually learn to respond to the day’s challenges with clarity, patience and compassion for oneself and those around us.
We will learn to become aware of the flow of sensations in our body and recognize distracting thoughts and feelings as they arise. Learning to return to the breath is the “magical moment,” as Sharon Salzberg calls it, where we can start to transform our lives.
A variety of meditations will be practiced as we progress.

We circle with calm abiding meditation, vipassana, chanting mantra, loving kindness as well as meditation on generosity and the other Perfections.
Occasionally, we do Vajrasattva meditations, and a taste of Dzogchen meditation.
A bit of Dharma teaching is also included, especially to explain the prayers, along with explaining how recent neuroscience is proving the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism.
