Gilmore Senior Center Care Connections Support Group for Caregivers

The Gilmore Senior Center Care Connections Support Group meets the fourth Thursday of every month at the El Dorado Hills Senior Center. This group supports caregivers and family members who are caring for or have a loved one with dementia. The group’s goals are to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space and promote emotional and physical health, sound caregiving strategies, awareness of resources, problem-solving, stress reduction, and personal growth. Attending this group should be seen as self-care. Depending on the group’s size, meetings will last 60–90 minutes to allow all to participate.
