6th Art Exhibition by Individuals with Different Abilities and Siblings

Art Exhibition Rules and Regulations:
1- NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
a. During this process Beautiful Minds MALI staff will be assisting participants in the
process. Beautiful Minds MALI counts with trained and experience staff that have gladly
volunteer their time toward making this art exhibition an unforgettable one!
2- FOUR ONE-TO-ONE ART SESSIONS
a. One-hour one-to-one art session each on Saturdays. Participant must be committed to
attend four art sessions. Each participant must be accompanied by an adult for the
duration of each art session. ONE ADULT PER PARTICIPANT (no exceptions). Artist will
not be able to participate in his/her art session if he/she is not accompanied by an adult.
Childcare is not provided during the art sessions and at the Art Exhibition event.
3- ART SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY:
a. A participant has 24 hrs. before their session to cancel it for us to reassign another
session. It will be the participant’s guardian’s responsibility to inform it and make all
necessary arrangements for the completion of the art piece.
b. If a participant misses any of the assigned art sessions for the completion of the art piece
without notifying it 24 hrs. before the session, the event organizers will be in no obligation
or responsible for the completion of the participant’s art piece for this Art
Exhibition. Participant’s art piece completion will be based on available space in the
future sessions for him/her to complete the artwork, and staff availability.
c. A participant with two “No Show” sessions will be located automatically in the waiting list
and remove from the participant’s art exhibition list.
d. Participant will be able to be part of the art exhibition only if the participant finishes his/her
art piece.
e. Is participant’s guardian ONLY responsibility of following up on rescheduled sessions
even if they call 24 hrs. in advance.
f. Participants can bring snacks to the art sessions or any other necessary article (if
applicable) that could help them feel more comfortable while working with their art piece.
However, snacks and drinks will be at the art sessions for participants and staff.
4- ALL MATERIAS PROVIDED
a. All the necessary materials to complete the art piece will be provided. Art pieces will vary
from participants and different mediums could be used for a particular art project.
5- ART EXHIBIT RULES AND REGULATION
a. Please, be aware that the Art Exhibition has a duration of approximately four weeks. All
the thirty-eight art pieces created will be exhibited for the entire duration of the event (NO
EXCEPTIONS). The organizers of these events are the ONLY people with the permission
of taking down an art piece from the exhibited area at El Paso Museum of Art. After
finalizing the Art Exhibition, all art pieces will be available for pick-up at the assigned
locations and times (TBD). Please, be aware that the organizers of this event will not
assume any responsibility of the art pieces after one week of finalizing the art exhibition.
6- OPENING RECEPTION
RULES AND
REGULATION (Private Event) – Each participant will receive four tickets for the Opening
Reception Event. The four tickets include a ticket for the participants and three guests. The
Opening Reception will be held on August, 2025 at the El Paso Museum of Art. This is a private
event, and an invitation ticket is needed at the entrance of the museum to be able to access the
event. Due to the room’s capacity and because we want to provide a suitable environment for the
participants, the staff at the entrance will allow entrance to the El Paso Museum of Art to visitors
with invitation tickets only (no exceptions). You will have an assignment table. Please be aware
that you CAN NOT exchange a table at any moment. All organizers and volunteers will be in the
room assisting and directing the event at the time of the Opening Reception.
I acknowledge that I have had sufficient time to, and has carefully read and fully understands all the rules
and regulations above. I also acknowledge that the information above was discussed by Beautiful Minds
MALI staff with me and that I and that I’m knowingly and voluntarily accept these rules, regulations and
cancelation policy.
