Monthly Meeting (Guest: Jordan Byrum / Artificial Reefs)

Monthly meeting of the HSFC! Guess will be Jordan Byrum who will talk about the NC DMF's artificial reef project. Jordan's presentation should be of interest to anyone who enjoys fishing off the NC coast, especially around structures often targeted when bottom fishing.

Jordan is the Enhancement Project Manager for the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries. He oversees both artificial reef and oyster restoration projects and has worked for the Division since 2017. Join this talk to learn how artificial reefs are constructed and monitored, how to find coordinates for new materials, fishing tips on inshore and offshore reefs, and what projects are planned for the next year.
