Sunshine & Slices Cake Picnic

Cake picnics are all the rage now, BUT we are hosting Cape Town's PREMIER cake picnic on the 31st January 2026 at Wijnlanden Estate.

Lynne Glass Cake Artist is our guest artist and she will be doing a meet & greet, VIP demo and she'll be judging the Best Tasting Cake Competition.

How it works :
Buy a ticket & bring a cake (we encourage creativity - no supermarket cakes). You'll be allocated a time slot and given a cake box. When it's your turn, you get to fill your box with slices of any of the cakes on display. You bring a cake & you get a cake.

There will be picnic spots and pop up bars, mixologists and so many Instagram worthy interactive photos opportunities. A kiddies play area and food trucks. We'll have some of the biggest suppliers into our industry there and you'll be entertained all day by Kruger & Tutu who will be performing.
