It is that time again when the CLRC invites you to take part in the annual GPS and Road Book Rally again so prepare for a FUN day!
Following the success of the two rallies in the past, we have combined the GPS Rally and the Road Book Rally in one. The details for this rally are below:
DATE: Sunday, 24 August 2025
TIME: Meet at 08:30 to depart at 09:00
ROUTE INFORMATION: Helderberg District
- Start point at Engen False Bay 1 Stop (near Somerset West)
- A mid-morning stop, at a remote coffee café, where you will receive free coffee and muffins
- An end venue that allows for lunch (platters)
RALLY AREA: Helderberg valley towards Hermanus, to finish by 15:00 latest Sunday afternoon, back towards Elgin Valley
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full tank of fuel
- A GPS set in degrees, minutes & decimals (no seconds will be provided). Waze GPS will work on the route.
- Snacks & drinks for your own enjoyment in your vehicle
RALLY ENTRY COST:
- To be paid in cash on Sunday morning to Penny
- R130 per adult, small children are free
