"This Play Has Zombies" at the Edmonton Fringe

This Play Has Zombies traps a theatre group inside their own rehearsal hall as a zombie horde closes in. The stranded actors, trained for a Henry V production, find themselves armed with prop swords and stage combat skills as they fight for survival against the undead, including former friends turned flesh-eating threats. Audiences can expect tense moments, heartfelt confessions, and the horror of battling what we once loved.

Erratic Players is committed to creating vibrant local theatre that pays its cast and crew from ticket sales, proving that professional arts can thrive in Alberta’s smaller communities.

The Erratic Players, a semi-professional theatre collective from the Foothills of Alberta, is set to bring its newest original production, This Play Has Zombies by local author Todd Trimble, to the Edmonton Fringe Festival this August.

Founded by local Okotoks artists Katie Fournell and Logan Coutts, Erratic Players is the Foothills' newest theatre group, transforming small-town venues into memorable stages. From sold-out murder mysteries to Western holiday classics, the troupe now heads to Fringe with its deadliest story yet.
