Sunbeam Meetup - A Beginners Solar Astronomy Event

With summer in full swing, the Sun isn't going anywhere. So why not make the best of our long summer evenings and coming to AllStar Telescope to observe the Sun in all it's magnificent glory.

We will have all the solar viewing options available. White Light filters to show the Photosphere and count the sun spots, Hydrogen Alpha telescopes from Lunt to show the boiling Chromosphere, and even a Calcium filter to show some interesting crackling features on the sun's surface.

If you have your own Scope (solar or not), bring it down too! We are always here to help with your setup if you have questions.
