refraction: Rainbow Party and ELEN Fundraiser

In physics, refraction is the redirection of a wave as it passes from one medium to another. As we get ready to head into the 2025 Pride season it's time to share our energy, stir joy and represent for our community. Spread the light! Wear your best Pride gear, pick up some new merch for the summer to benefit ELEN, play fun games and meet new friends.

We honour May 17th as special for the 2S/LGBTQIA+ population as we mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, now in it's 20th year.

Felice has booked the space exclusively for our use, it's fully private to our event. Try their incredible handcrafted drinks, enjoy snacks featuring local ingredients and check out the marketplace.

Tickets are required as we have limited capacity. A capped amount of reserved seating is available with purchase of an ELEN fundraiser themed pride pack. Snatch your tickets quickly as we expect to sell out again. More Fundraiser Pride sacks may be available by purchase after the first series sells out. We have a limited amount of no cost reserved spaces for those requiring increased accessibility. If registering for an accessible seat and pride package at the same time please let us know.

We will be playing pub games, assorted activities and using conversation prompts. The mini-market will be selling a wide selection of Pride merchandise with proceeds going to ELEN. We hope to debut a project of member-created custom art supporting ELEN. There will be door prizes. Please bring your favourite easy social, party and table games to share. Opt-in name and pronoun tags will be available.

Location: Felice Cafe is inside the Stadium Yards located in the Commonwealth neighbourhood. Nearby the transit station, there are lots of LRT and bus route options. There is free street parking available. Bike racks out front.
