Wizards of the Coast is celebrating Pride Month through a special Commander event.

Format: Commander - Multiplayer Free-for-All

Special Rule: All cards that are eligible Commanders are treated as though they have the Partner ability, which allows you to designate TWO Commanders as your commander. The remaining 98 cards must follow their combined color identity.
Prizing:
Each player will receive an alternate-art Chromatic Lantern promo. Each player will also receive additional promotional cards and/or product.
First round will be randomly assembled pods of 4 or 5 players. If there are 2 or fewer players left in the pod when a turn ends, that pod is completed. Each remaining player gets a match point for surviving, then each player fills out a secret ballot, naming a player each for best sportsmanship, most creative deck, coolest play, and most interesting partnership. Players cannot vote for themselves. Players may name the same opponent in multiple categories.
Rounds 2 and 3 will be paired to minimize the number of players repeating opponents. After round 3 prizes will be distributed.
Preemptively Answered Questions:
- You cannot have two commanders and a Background if one or both commanders has 'Choose a Background' rules text. There is only space for two cards in the command zone at this time.
- Card that have the rules text '~ can be your commander.' can be used as a partner. This is not limited to Legendary Creatures.
