Flint Knapping Workshop and Drop in Education Program

From raw stone to razor-sharp tools, discover the art of flint knapping.

Join Hazeldean Community League and the Archaeological Society of Alberta Edmonton Centre on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 from 12:00-4:00pm at Hazeldean Community League (9630 66 Ave NW, Edmonton) as we take a step back in time and learn how people transformed stone into technology long before metal or machines. This will be a tactile experience you don’t want to miss! The workshop is suitable for age 15+.

During the workshop, there will be a free educational drop-in program offered for all ages!
