This project is considered a 'beginner's' quilt from Quiltworx, yet still offers the challenge of a variety of sections including curved piecing, smart corners, and floating points. For students both new to Quiltworx patterns and those who are not, the pattern offers a challenge.
Understanding of a Quiltworx Instruction Booklet (this may sound like a bit of a 'well, of course' item, but many students are overwhelmed by how comprehensive a Quiltworx instruction booklet is).
Sorting, cutting newsprint (cutting templates, sewing templates, T-Templates)
Unit Piecing, Trimming. May include applique steps
Unit Assembly (may include curved piecing)
Quilt Assembly (may include S-Curve assembly
Each student will be working on the same pattern – Arizona Cactus
