Creating Possibilities BBMA Celebration 2025

The BBMA endowment fund supports Métis Albertans seeking to change their circumstances through education and skill development.

Creating Possibilities is an annual cultural event that honors the journeys and successes of BBMA participants. The value of the program goes beyond the dollars--it's an investment in our future, helping Métis students achieve their career goals and make a difference in their communities.

Awards are intended to assist recipients with essential costs such as tuition, fees, and sometimes textbooks and supplies. Each year approximately 250 awards are approved by the BBMA Panel.

Since 2001, these awards have generated more than $11 million for over 3500 Métis Albertans studying at various institutions. 400 guests are expected to attend this year including Elders, Founders, previous and present recipients, dignitaries and generous sponsors.

Info: Sash Recipients, Sponsors, Special Guests and Families are invited to pick up their name tags and table assignments for the Gala. All Sash recipients are asked to arrive no later than 3 pm.

Info: All First Time Sash Recipients will proceed to the Courtyard BBMA booth after registering to receive instructions for the Grand Procession. Families of Recipients will be directed to the Enbridge Networking Session.
