COSMIC GROOVES was originally created in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, by Vicente Guajardo Martinez (VCHO) and Jenna Bell with the intention of bringing their small northern community together to dance, listen, and get inspired by multi-genre DJ sets including house, techno, breakbeats, garage, electronia, disco, indie dance, bass music and more. COSMIC GROOVES creates a safe space for everyone and helps local artists to become known by the community.
Recently relocating to Edmonton, Alberta, Vicente and Jenna are ecstatic to be hosting their first COSMIC GROOVES event in the big city at The Grindstone Theatre with local DJs 12TEN and Dailey. Get ready to fly to another galaxy as the music takes you on a journey you won't forget.

VCHO is the alias of electronic music producer and DJ Vicente, born and raised in the vibrant coastal city of ValparaÃso, Chile — a place where electronic music pulses through the night. Drawing inspiration from techno and house, VCHO crafts immersive, rhythm-driven sets that resonate on and off the dancefloor.
After honing his sound and making waves in the northern scene while living in Whitehorse, Yukon, VCHO has now relocated to Edmonton, Alberta. With a deep love for curating memorable sonic experiences, he continues to bring his unique energy and South American roots to dance floors across Canada.
12TEN brings bounce-heavy, groove-rich house music straight from Edmonton’s underground. A drummer-turned-DJ, he’s known for infectious rhythms that move bodies and elevate dancefloors.
Dailey, also known as Gavin Delainey, stands as a founding member of the Night Vision Collective. With his music, both in productions and sets, he effortlessly weaves together a harmony of diverse influences. From garage, breaks, house, techno, and beyond, his sound transcends boundaries.
