Buy Nothing: Give It Away, Take It Home

Got stuff that you can't be bothered to try and sell on Marketplace? Bring it to the Elmwood Community League and give it away!

The Buy Nothing Project is a world-wide initiative to bring neighbours closer together and reduce waste at the same time.

How does it work? Simple:

1. You bring items (in decent condition) you no longer have use for to the hall, and then set them in the designated areas

2. Take a box or reusable bag and go "shopping" yourself!

ALL THE ITEMS ARE FREE! There's no payment needed to walk out the door with your new treasures!

Elmwood Community League is a volunteer-run non-profit that does collect donations, and should you wish to donate to our League, we will have a collection area available. There is no fee to enter the event, and if you’re an Elmwood resident, you can buy a membership from us at no cost or by donation.
