After some great feedback and advice I've decided to go ahead and run a board game flea market day. I have a tentative booking for June 28th Saturday 9am-9pm, I have also arranged to setup the night before (friday starting at 7pm).
Please note: to go ahead with the event I will need confirmation and table deposits for at least 12 tables. But the event site can hold up to 20.
For Vendors:
- Tables are 8 feet and will be 15$ for the day
- The hall will be open at 9am for vendors to setup and 10am for the public to start buying
- Your table is your own to sell whatever you like as long as it's board game related. This includes war games, miniatures/miniature games, RPG's, board game books, used/new, accessories, dice etc.
- If people would like to setup the night before I can open the hall for you after 7pm.
- We ask that you stay until at least 7pm (but can start cleaning up and leaving after that) I have the hall booked until 9pm incase you need more time to take down/pack up
- Feel free to trade, haggle etc. but you have to provide your own purchasing method (cash, ET, change etc.)
- I am looking into a cantina and food options but it will be a good idea to bring a lunch
For Buyers:
- it will probably be a good idea to bring cash
- ET's might be possible but will be up to the individual vendor
Everyone:
- please pass on this event to everyone that might be interested in attending or selling
- this will be my first attempt at running one of these but if it works out well, there will definitely be more in the future with extras (auctions, raffles, draws, math trades, food trucks)
