Ms. Frankenstein’s Monster – Audition announcement.
For generations the Frankenstein Monster business has been a men-only enterprise. However, the classic male model of the monster is causing the public to lose interest, and the Frankensteins to lose money. Ms. Frankenstein has a plan to put her family back in the spotlight, but does her brother, the Baron, mind a little competition?
The show opens Friday October 3rd and runs for 4 weekends. Friday & Saturday’s curtain is 7:30pm, Sunday’s curtain is 2pm.
Rehearsals will start on Monday August 18th and will generally be Monday – Thursday in the evenings.
Auditions are Sunday July 27th from 2-4pm and Monday July 28th from 7-9 pm and will be held at the Phoenix theatre in Edmonds.

We are casting 5 women and 3 men. Most actors will play two roles.
· Ms. Frankenstein: 30s-40s – She is tired of having her brilliant ideas ignored by the men.
· Agatha Twisty/Nurse: Female 30s-40s - American journalist who will do anything for the scoop of a lifetime
· Miss Monster/Joan: Female 20s-30s – she is brilliant
· Marie/Mrs. Elgin: Female 20s-40s - townswomen
· Emma/Mrs. Dorf: Female 20s-40s - townswomen
· Baron Frankenstein/Mr. Muller: Male 40s-50s – He is used to everything being a certain way and sees no reason for things to change
· Monster/Mr. Schmidt: Male 30s-40s – He is… not brilliant
· The Mayor/Police Inspector: Male 30s-40s - townsmen

Auditions will be held at the Phoenix Theatre which is in the center of the second story of Firdale Village. The stage is reached by stepping up 3 stairs.
Our accessible entrance is in the back and can be reached by car. Parking is free and plentiful.
