Edgar and Mark Cruz are the first two classical guitar graduates in Oklahoma both from Oklahoma City University (1986 and 1988 respectfully). Mark has been professor of guitar at Texas State University in San Marcos since 1999. He has won multiple awards for composition and performance including most recently placing first in the 2022 Indiana Fingerstyle Contest. Edgar has been a full-time solo guitarist / entertainer / instructor since the 1980’s and plays over 300 times a year for a wide variety of performances. Both have self produced and sold multiple recordings. It is extremely rare for them to perform together so when they do they love playing originals, spanish, classical, classic rock, jazz and 'stump the musicians'.
