Wullie’s Wake

Hi, Gemma here. I’m using Wullie’s account for this to reach as many of his friends as possible.

Wullie’s wishes were to have a non-attendance funeral, meaning that there will be no ceremony at the crematorium. He instead wanted us to get together and raise a glass to him on the day, so I’ve booked the Wee Red Bar in Edinburgh for the day of his cremation. It’s somewhere he knew quite well from organising gigs there. In the meantime, I’ll be putting together a playlist and some photographs, so if anyone has a photo they’d like to share, a piece of music or poem that reminds you of him, or anything else, please share it here. I’ll also be organising nibbles, and arranging a table with keepsakes for people to take as a memento of Wullie, so it would be great to know how many can come.
