Julia Boggio is a multi-award-winning self-published romance writer. Her debut book, SHOOTERS, won the Selfie Awards at London Book Fair (2024) as well as gold at the Wishing Shelf Awards. CAMERA SHY won the Shorter Romantic Novel prize at the RNA awards (2025) and her other two books, CHASING THE LIGHT and EXPOSURE!, were shortlisted for Romcom of the Year in 2024 and 2025, respectively. Julia has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Rutgers University; worked as an advertising copywriter for a decade; then ran her photography business for 15 years, growing it into London’s top portrait studio before hanging up her camera and picking up her pen. She is originally from New Jersey, but now lives in Wimbledon, UK, with her husband, two kids, and passive-aggressive cat.
