Gather in for an evening of blether about UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention and the opportunities it opens up for Scottish traditional dance.
Hear from special guests and enjoy wee sets from Scottish Country, Highland and Step dance artists, as well as Polonaise and Csardas, which were recently inscribed in the UNESCO representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Expect a set of Polonaise by Anthony Carter, Fiona Lynch, Natalia Nowak and Renata Grillanda of Parzenica, Scotland’s Polish Folk Dance Group.

Hear presentations by Steve Byrne of TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland), Rachel Hosker of the Centre for Research Collections, University of Edinburgh and Árpád Vörös, recipient of the knighthood award for lifetime contribution towards Hungarian folk dance.
