Join us for the launch of 'Remember how you are liberated', a radical new zine authored by Éadaoín Lynch and Zosia Kuczyńska!Collated after a transformative 6-month residency with Typewronger Books, and in partnership with the Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive, 'Remember how you are liberated' is a playful, empowered and unapologetically queer collection of poems.'This is the moment. This is where we each decide to buck against what's respectable.'

This zine grew out of archival materials from Section 28 and its impact, at a time when trans rights are facing eerily similar attacks from bodies like the EHRC. The poems here are inspired by such loud displays as the enormous trans flag draped across El Capitan, as well as the small details of the everyday, like Minnie Bruce Pratt's vibrator.

Éadaoín Lynch is an Irish writer & researcher based in Edinburgh. They were one of the Typewronger Writers-in-Residence 2025, in partnership with the Lavender Menace Queer Books Archive. Éadaoín's first poetry pamphlet, Fierce Scrow, was published by Nine Pens Press in 2022. That same year, Re·creation: A Queer Poetry Anthology – co-edited with Alycia Pirmohamed – was published by Stewed Rhubarb Press.Their poem 'Brogue' was Commended in the Magma 2024 Poetry Competition by Raymond Antrobus.
