A powerful new show, weaving music, dance, and storytelling from an ensemble of disabled artists and artists of colour. Featuring Hamshya Rajkumar, Karen Sutherland, Ishrat Rahim, Laura Cole, Anise Pearson, and Sorcha Pringle, Phoenix explores sound and movement through innovative technology like the AirSticks alongside original songwriting.
Across the performance, common threads emerge: the phoenix takes flight, crashes through a polluted city, and journeys through tales of anger, play, ancestry, and resilience — only to rise again transformed. Expect striking choreography, bold new music, and a collective vision of rebirth and defiance.
