Welcome to the Meadowfield Park Spring Walk and Talk! Join us for a fun, local get together at Meadowfield Park in Holyrood, Edinburgh (meet at the spiders web). This in-person event is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of spring while learning about what is growing in your local park.
Our guide, Ian Edwards (WildAwake), is an ecologist, forager and nature guide who has spent nearly half a century researching, writing and broadcasting on wild plants and wild foods. He is passionate about the connection between eating wild food and health. If you are curious about wild food growing on your doorstep or a seasoned forager come and share your experience on a gentle foray through woodland and meadow.
Don't miss this chance to connect with nature and explore Meadowfield Park in a whole new way.
Feel free to stay on for picnic from 1pm onwards.
