Call for Participants – Exploring Class Workshop ✨
28–29 June 2025 | Edinburgh
How does class shape how we live, relate, organise, and resist?
Join us for a two-day immersive workshop to explore how class impacts our lives and movements — and how we can collectively build toward justice and liberation.
This is a participatory space that invites deep reflection and honest conversation. The facilitators want to create a supportive and challenging environment in which to learn from each others’ knowledge and experiences.
The workshop aims to:
1. Make space for poor & working class folks to centre and articulate their own experiences and knowledge, and share with others.
2. Support middle class and owning class folks to recognise and take responsibility for the psychological and material benefits of their class position and take steps towards change.
3. Make space to talk and plan for taking action such as collectivising and redistributing financial resources.
4. Support the mobilisation of cross-class people working towards radical social change.
5. Support a culture of mutual aid and accountability amongst individuals living and working in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
Practical Info:
Both days required: 9.30am–5.30pm (with plenty of breaks!)
Venue will be wheelchair accessible – full logistical details TBC
Open to anyone based in Edinburgh and surrounding areas
Expect a mix of reflection, discussion, and action – we’re not just talking about class, we’re working to transform it
