Club N80 Gritty

Club Nitty Gritty is 10! It's actually quite hard to believe: 1) that so much time has passed (it feels like no time at all since the first one) and 2) that The Heartbreak Diet have managed to keep it together for so long. That said, every CNG is a pleasure, so it's no hardship; hopefully we'll continue to run it for another 10 years.

Anyway, how to celebrate? We thought we'd take a departure from our serious-sounding love of classic/country/folk rock and soul, and indulge our guilty pleasures for one night only. Folks, it's the 80s* at The Home Bar, and we've got a wee roll call of local acts to help remind you of all the distaste that the decade brought along.

We'll have the decks along, and rest assured we've been hitting the bargain bins in all good record stores for the very worst, yet least forgettable, 7 inches we could find.
