What to Expect - Spots are LIMITED to 30!
Campers will get hands-on experience with auditions, rehearsals, costuming, set building, and tech. We'll help them discover where their true interest lies, whether that's shining on stage or working behind the scenes.
During the first week, every camper will audition for a role in the show, and we'll immediately dive into rehearsals. If being on stage isn't their thing, they'll start learning all about the fascinating world of theatre tech.
For the rest of camp, a typical day will be filled with rehearsing scenes, songs, and dances. They'll also get to learn about our lighting and tech equipment, gaining valuable skills that are essential for any production. Don't worry, campers will be supervised the entire day and will get plenty of breaks to rest and recharge. For your peace of mind, all volunteers working at the camp will have background checks.
What to Bring & What We Provide
Theatre Shenandoah will provide water and snacks to keep everyone energized throughout the day. Please remember that campers are to provide their own lunch each day.
The Grand Finale!
