Community members who have experienced the death of a family member or friend are invited to register for GriefShare.
This nondenominational program features Christ-centered, biblical teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD-based seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories followed by a small group discussion.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this weekly support group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal.” Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping, and gain solid support each step of the way.
The cost for the support group is $20 and includes a workbook. Participants can begin at any time and attend any or all of the sessions. Scholarships are available and if you need childcare during the support group, we can assist with the cost of that as well.
