Saturday 14th June, 10am to 3pm approx. Rathcroghan Visitor Centre, Tulsk, Co. Roscommon.
Learn, have fun, a laugh and a chat while creating beautiful pieces of jewellery. A day away from your usual routine, a day of mindful creativity.
This 1 day workshop will teach you the fundamentals of wire work, from the basics of tools and materials to creating pieces that can be incorporated into your own handmade jewellery.
Our in-person workshop is designed to give you the skills and confidence to create beautiful wire work pieces. We will cover the basics of tools and materials, including the different types of wire, pliers, and other tools. We will also discuss the different techniques used in wire work, such as twisting, looping, and weaving.
All necessary materials (wire, gemstone, beads) provided, use of all relevant tools included. Tea/coffee will help fuel the creativity. Lunch is not included.
Our workshop will be held in an upstairs room - there is no lift. There is ample parking outside, an onsite cafe and museum.
We will not be metal smithing or soldering.
