You’re warmly invited to an evening of conversation, compassion, and connection with Longford author, Laura Doyle who recently published ‘Undelivered. Fertility, Miscarriage And My Journey to Self-Compassion’.
Join us for a special gathering with Laura Doyle, whose new book has opened up the often-silent world of miscarriage with honesty, courage, and a generous sense of humanity and, dare we say, humour.
This won’t be a formal lecture or a heavy night. Think of it more as a cosy, fireside-style conversation with Laura. An opportunity to listen, reflect, and, if you wish, ask questions in a space designed to feel safe, gentle, and deeply respectful.
Whether you’ve experienced loss yourself, supported someone who has, or simply want to better understand a topic that touches so many lives in Ireland, you’re welcome exactly as you are. There’s no expectation to share anything personal; you’re free to sit back quietly or join the discussion if you feel comfortable.
The evening will include:
An open, heartfelt conversation with the author
A short reading from the book to set the tone
Space for questions, thoughts, or simple curiosity
Time afterwards to chat informally with others over light refreshments.
Our aim is simple: to create a warm room where stories are respected, silence is eased, and no one feels alone.
We would be delighted to have you with us.
Please feel free to bring a friend, a partner, or anyone you feel would enjoy or benefit from the evening.
We very much look forward to welcoming you.
