REFRESHMENTS
When: 5:00-8:00 in the gym
What: BBQ, hotdogs, chips, nachos and cheese, pie by the slice, soda and water will
be available for purchase. We are asking for pie donations! Please drop off the day of Fall Fest.
CAKE WALK
When: 5:30—until cakes are gone in Mrs. Heil’s classroom
What: Each family is asked to bring ONE decorated cake. Cakes MUST be covered in some way (plastic wrap or a covered container) and placed in containers that can go home with the winner. Please bring your homemade or store bought cake to Yahara anytime during the day of Fall Fest.
GAMES/FACEPAINT AND BALLOON TWISTING:
When: 5:00-6:45 in the classrooms
What: There will be a variety of games and fun activities for all ages. There will be a prize room that will be open from approximately 6:00-7:00 pm. Tickets are sold for these games and activities for minimal cost. FUN for the whole family!
COUNTRY MARKET
When: 5:00-7:00 in the STEM center classroom
What: This is where you can show off your crafty skills and your baking talents! All donated by Yahara families, these items can be dropped off anytime the day of Fall Fest. Our volunteers price the items. Please see the attached QR code for some examples of items we are looking for.
BUCKET RAFFLE AND SILENT AUCTION
When: 5:00-7:00 in Mrs. Whipple’s classroom
What: Smaller basket donations and auction items will be available here. Tickets for the bucket raffle can be purchased and placed in the bucket by the item for a chance to win. The silent auction will take bids on each item until 7:00 when the highest bidder wins.
LIVE AUCTION
When: 7:00 in the Gym
What: This is for the larger donated items. Fun for the whole family! Raffle ticket winners will be drawn before the live auction.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Fall Fest, it is the Yahara Community Club’s (YCC’s) largest and sometimes only fundraiser of the year. This is an event where the entire family and community is invited and encouraged to attend. Monies raised directly benefit Yahara school and its students. This year, we are raising funds for school activities, field trips, supplies, equipment, STEM materials, books, and many other things! The following information about Fall Fest includes a short explanation, times and places for each event.
