Guardians of the Light - Workshops with Sweetbird Studio's Nancy Anderson

Please join Colorado-based, national artist and jeweler Nancy Anderson of Sweet Bird Studio at The Peanut Factory for an exploration into mixed media.

Use collage, paint, found objects, photos and more to create your very own Shrine of Intention commemorating a loved one or pet.

Over 30 years ago, Nancy Anderson said goodbye to her financial career in order to pursue her passion for jewelry making. In her own words, she describes, 'crafting a life of meaning;' that is, doing what she loves, without always knowing the result. 'My work has been a constant reminder that we begin over and over and over again: in life, in creativity and in connecting with others. We are all brave souls, stepping forward into the unknown and the unpredictable for the first time to begin again every single day.'

Come feel the power of possibility in your creativity. If you do one creative project all year, let this be the one.

All materials included and no experience is necessary. ... feel free to bring your own commemorative items also.
