Oogstdag
De Dorschkast is een inmiddels niet meer weg te denken fenomeen in de Bennekomse samenleving. In de uit 1928 stammende machine worden de graankorrels uit de schoven geklopt, waarna het stro aan de ene kant uit de machine komt en de korrels aan de andere kant op grootte worden gesorteerd en in zakken worden opgevangen. Dat proces is en blijft indrukwekkend.
