B.A.R.K. Ranger Hike

Bring your dog and explore Mahaska County's beautiful Quercus Wilderness Area and earn a B.A.R.K. Ranger Certificate! Quercus offers a shady, scenic environment with towering oak trees, the state record Downy Serviceberry tree, and exciting hiking trails for a fun and memorable adventure. Mahaska County B.A.R.K. Ranger dog tags will also be available for purchase as a special memento. Just a friendly reminder—dogs must remain on a leash in the park.
